So Kuen Chan

So Kuen was the TRP's first research officer, from 1993 to 1997. During that period, she assisted in setting up the Project and started the China research projects. The Telecommunications usage of Shanghai's of Foreign Banking was one of them.

Here she is on a hardship mission, attending the Pacific Telecommunications Conference in Hawaii where she made a presentation. Note the crowded hall of delegates in the background.

SK later joined Wharf Cable Television Limited – renamed Hong Kong Cable Television in 1999, and later, i-CABLE Communications Limited, established and listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and NASDAQ in the US – as Senior External Affairs Manager.

She is now the Executive Director of the Hong Kong Association of Pharmaceutical Industry.
